Egon Spengler: There's something very important I forgot to tell you.
Peter Venkman: What?
Egon Spengler: Don't cross the streams.
Peter Venkman: Why?
Egon Spengler: It would be bad.
Peter Venkman: I'm fuzzy on the whole 'good/bad' thing, what do you mean bad?
Egon Spengler: Try to imagine all life as you know it stopping instantaneously and every molecule in your body exploding at the speed of light.
Ray Stantz: Total protonic reversal.
Peter Venkman: All right, that's bad. Ok, all right, important safety tip, thanks Egon.
Pixar shorts →
Here’s a lovely part of the Pixar website dedicated to their short films. You can watch sneak previews, flick through little illustrated synopses and download the films through iTunes.
Skinny Wolves sent us this link yesterday, we love the snowy, glittery lovliness and check out the Synth Cake. “What the shit is a Synth Cake?” I hear you say. Watch and learn.

Here's the more famous interactive music video... →
This is an interactive video directed by (I just found out) Chris Milk . It uses google maps to incorporate where you are when you’re watching it. It’s not jaw-droppingly fabulous but it’s kinda great that they made the effort to not ignore all this weird new technology
You can star in this interactive video! →
It’s super cool
Kurt Vonnegut's tips for writing fiction →
Strictly speaking these tips are for novel style writing but they are great tips either way, whether you are writing screenplays, stageplays or anything geared towards entertainment really.
Vonnegut qualifies the list by adding that Flannery O’Connor broke all these rules except the first, and that great writers tend to do that.
These guys make a new 5secondfilm every week day and they’re hilarious. We emailed them to see if they’d be our friends. It didn’t work with David Firth but maybe just maybe….

This is a little strange but you’d get a $30,000 production budget! Worth a look I reckon!

Exchange Dublin, Temple Bar →
The inaugural Eat My Shorts, June 2010 was held in Exchange Dublin. It’s a flickin amazing place that offers you the space, technology and support to put on your own events, hold workshops, have a rehearsal space, whatever you damn well want really. You can also do something good with your life for once and volunteer there if you really like the space.
